Depois da frequ\u00eancia de algumas cadeiras do 1\u00ba ano do Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, e do servi\u00e7o militar cumprido em Angola, foi comercial na Comundo (Canon), entre 1973 e 1978, e na Jonhson &amp; Jonhson, at\u00e9 1984.
